blog blog blog table blog dirt
It's Corners day, and I can't find a clean corner to photograph. The house is a mess, the pile of dirty clothes in the laundry room is threatening to tip over and smother a passing child, and my dad just called and said, "The blog hasn't changed. I thought you were supposed to put something new up every day." Aaaargh!
It's all because I'm spending every free minute (which isn't that many for a mom, you know?!) working on my new weblog. I found a free MT template to copy and slowly have been fiddling with it, trying to get it to look good. and work right. I don't know anything about this code stuff. I got stuck, and my awesome friend Michael, husband to the equally awesome Tobi, helped me out for several hours last night. There's still one problem with the home page that he's going to try to solve and I have to mess with some of the archive pages (oh, it's so complicated...) and then I'll let everyone know the new address. He even figured out how to import all my Blogger entries after I left at midnight last night. Michael, THANK YOU so much! I owe you BIG time.
I'm going to just sit on the Back-Tack overflow swap idea for a few days. I feel like I'm guilting you all into this, and that wouldn't be very fun. Click here to see the real Back-Tack 3 rules and if you really want to do it, email me and we'll figure it all out.
I'll leave you with official evidence of how much my mom rocks. She just designed and built us this patio table, pretty much all be herself. I need to lightly sand the edges to take off the splinters, and then stain it. Wooooo weeeee! Patio party, anyone?!

And a gratuitous picture of my children enjoying the nice weather. Jack is teaching Nora the finer qualities of dirt...
