birthday apron
This apron is for my niece who just had her 5th birthday. She's been in need of a proper white cotton half apron to transform herself into Cinderella. Not the fancy Cinderella, but the poor servant Cinderella. Because I am who I am, I added the extra stitching to the hem. Included is a little white bandanna to hold her hair out of her face as she toils away. There's little doubt that her sister will be coerced into playing the role of one of the step sisters...
** Added 10/29/06: Looks like she likes it! **

You are too good....really, too, too, good. It's really wonderful. You've got mad skills, as all the young kid's say. OH wait, they probably don't say that anymore, huh? I am so old.
Basically what I am saying is that I love the apron. buh-bye. ;-)

I love the apron. Did you hand-stitch it, or do you have a fancy schmancy sewing machine that lets you program in phrases? (If it is the latter, I'm jealous.)

That is just beautiful. Do you have a Kenmore to do that fancy stitching. I have one and haven't used the lettering all that much...you give me inspiration!!
