order up: one horse apron

My dear friend, Suzy, ordered an apron for her daughter at the beginning of the summer. Now it's mid-October and it's finally done. Her daughter adores horses and I hunted and hunted for a nice print. Long after I bought the green, Vicki wrote about this fabric. Seeing that made my heart sink; it would have been perfect. But I made due with what I had, and I think it turned out pretty well anyway. The little removable ribbon is just an extra. A please forgive my procrastination extra, if you will.

Sorry it took so long, sweets. I'll mail it off right away. I hope she enjoys it.

Cute! And if you need that Alexander Henry horse fabric in the future, they have it at Sarah's in Lawrence. I looked at it the other day for a little project I've got in my head. ;)

Cheers!

The ribbon adds a great touch of color, beauty and thematic richness to your design. Lovely.
