today
Last night was a wonderful evening. Book Club friends, I adore you all.
Last night also became difficult- we were up with a crying baby for several hours.
So today I am tired, but I will try to focus.
Today I will have simple goals: take a shower, play with these kids, have patience.
I will also rethink baby's bedtime routine. She's having trouble.
Maybe tomorrow I'll shoot for something loftier, but not today.
Take care, friends. Shuffling in for more coffee now.

Yes, I hear you. Hope you get baby's sleep figured out soon for the good of all... So hard.
Yes, a simple goal like a shower is good. It is on my to-do list today after getting stratched off for TOO MANY days in a row.

I can so relat, my 3 week old was up sooooo much last night. I prayed that God would let my other 2 sleep in untill at leat 7:30 (usually they are up at 6:30) and a miracle happened, they slept until 7:45, I need to try this praying thing more often :)

Oh my, how I can relate. We're having sleep issues by all. And we have crying babies more frequently than I'd like. Thank goodness for coffee.

Are your baby and my baby in cahoots?

Oh dear. Babe troubles all over the place it seems. I hope you find something that works for sweet N....and that you get a nice shower.
Coffee is always good.

Thank you for a lovely book club! I'm sorry Nora is struggling...I'm glad that you are being gentle with yourself today!
What a lovely blogsite, Meg was kind enough to forward the url to me after the meeting last night.
Take care,
Eileen

Does her sleep pattern get weird when you have people over? It takes us a week or two to get Elise back on schedule after just having a few friends over in the evening!
Yes, sometimes just a shower is a lofty enough goal for the day!

The feeling is definitely mutual, Alicia. Book club was just lovely at your wonderful home.
Sending good nighttime vibes your way tonight . . . I sure hope your sweetie and all of you can get some rest.
blessings, M

I have to remind myself that not everyday has to have an "accomplishment" and sometimes playing with my kids IS a lofty goal. I do so hear you.
