Sadly, I postponed the get-together on account of bad weather,
which ended up bad but not that bad.

That happens to us too. We finally commit to canceling because of the weather and then it turns out the weather is fine. Hope you had a nice weekend anyway.

LOL on your post title, though I think the postal carriers in our area are hard at work trying to disprove their motto. We only received mail TWICE (not joking) between Dec. 20-31. Some of those days, I'll admit, were horrid. But some of those days ... I THINK they could've ventured out.
