Wahoo! Good for you!! You'll love knitting. It will become an addiction!

way to go Alicia !!!

Everyone must be learning to knit (cause we are everyone)! I just learned last week also. I've been inspired by SouleMama.

Made my first washrag. But I have decided that if we are to depend upon me to knit washrags in order to clean the dishes then we might be better to use the whole ball of yarn. Took a who week to do one little rag and I'm not sure it will hold up to washing...haha!!

Go Alicia Go! Warning: It can be addictive.

How lovely for you - it's a great thing to learn :)
I am loving red lately, red, red, red. So this photo just hums to me. What a gorgeous yarn!

Aaaahhh, at this rate you'll be a pro before I even send you my little knitties for you!!!!! lol
xo

Wow, good work so far!

Good for you. Knitting can be so relaxing. What are you going to make?

looks like you are off to a great start.
that warm red yarn should be a
perfect bright spot on a chilly winter
day! beautiful. have fun.

Oh that's great! Handy having a mom who knows how huh? :) So, whatcha' knitting first?

Cool! I need to try this some day.

ooh! a real person to teach you to knit? i'm jealous. (i'm relying on books. it can't answer questions.)

That's awesome! I've always wanted to learn how to knit and now I'm jealous- you'll be able to watch all those cool knitting shows on DIY and know what they're talking about. :)

My mom never would teach me to knit because I'm left handed, and evidently that also makes me un-teachable. Good for you! And that would make another lovely scarlet picture. ;)

yay alicia! love the red. there is something so satisfying about knitting with beautiful red yarn. xo shari
