My girl uses many two and three word sentences now but there is always the most endearing pause between words as her mind searches for the right one.
"Mommy. Wunch. Time."

I love all the great things they come up with while they are finding their words. My favorite one that Maisy said was "gonkey" for donkey and zebras were "striped gonkies". It still brings a smile to my face when I think about it.
spenser talks like that too. in fact, she's on my lap and when she saw the picture of the pretend food, she said, 'no. mommy. no.' when i scrolled down. i love little talkers. (most of her words are hard to understand.)
You will so miss those times when words take effort to get out. My 3 year old rattles off sentences so fast I sometimes forget how she used to talk. Language aquisition is so delightful to watch evolve. What a sweet photo and touching little post.

Awwww... sweetie.... My favorite of Eliot's is "soft". Which means pet or touch. "I soft the cat." Melts my heart.
Have a good weekend.

So sweet! Elise wants food as soon as she wakes up, so I hear her in her crib, saying "Waffles! Eck-fast! Hung-ee! App-ews! Gapes! Mewk! Oh-meal!"
