andrew rocks
(I swiped this photo from his MySpace page. I hope he doesn't mind. Go there and you can listen to a few songs. I took my camera, but felt dorky and locked it in the trunk at the last minute. I wish I hadn't.)
I just HAD to pop in and say how much Andrew Bird rocks. We went to see him (+ Martin Dosh and Jeremy Ylvisaker) last night at the Blue Note in Columbia, MO. Now I have some of his music on cd and on the computer, and he's very good. But live he's surprising, amazing and totally rockin'. Totally. It's like nothing you've ever heard. Plus I really dig that geeky, intellectual songwriter vibe.
Enough. Give me a few more days and I'll be back. xo.

yes, yes. i've been crushing hard on andrew bird for a while now (do you see his striped socks?) and am loving the new album so much. the night he plays here in portland is the night of our opening in san francisco, bummer. so glad that you got to see that show!!
