What a beautiful iris!
And a belated thank you for taking the time to make and post the smocket pattern. I made one for the daughter of a friend of mine (you may have to cut and paste the url):

That iris is so unusual and beautiful. Good luck with all your to-do's - they sound like a fun list. How come mine consists of stuff like renew insurance? Going wrong somewhere!

Beautiful photo! I'm also wishing you luck on knitting something---I'm over here needing to do the same, except that I planned on crocheting something and I don't crochet! I guess wish me luck, too!

Hmmm, I've been online all day, and I was still late to see your post. That's a nice to-do list! We are still just waiting on spring. We've had some OK days yesterday & today (high 50's), but I am really ready to warm up, get some buds going on the trees, and so forth. Look forward to seeing you when you get back. Also, with insanely busy April winding down, look for your package soon!!!

I found out how to crochet when I was a teenager. It took me a long time to get it right but now I can crochet lots of things now. I love it!

The green iris that you have posted is a singularly exquisite flower. Do you know the name or the origin of this magnificent bulb? We have tried researching where this bulb came from but without any positive outcome. The experts seem baffled as well. Thank you again for posting such a beautiful photo.
