to do

green iris1.JPG

• Find pleasure in the small moments
• Be grateful for my loved ones
• Get going on our veggie patch
• Hang a clothesline somewhere
• Enjoy the weather; Spring is back!
• Make a spinach quiche
• Knit something. Wish me luck.
• Finish several baby gifts
• and a birthday gift
• Barbecue with good friends
• Go see this guy in concert- yay!
• Celebrate Earth Day

I'll be back in a week or two. Take care of yourselves, friends.

What a beautiful iris!

And a belated thank you for taking the time to make and post the smocket pattern. I made one for the daughter of a friend of mine (you may have to cut and paste the url):

Have a great break Alicia!

That iris is so unusual and beautiful. Good luck with all your to-do's - they sound like a fun list. How come mine consists of stuff like renew insurance? Going wrong somewhere!

Beautiful photo! I'm also wishing you luck on knitting something---I'm over here needing to do the same, except that I planned on crocheting something and I don't crochet! I guess wish me luck, too!

Have a great time being 'off'! Enjoy Earth Day and all the earthy things that I see you have planned on your list...and all that yummy crafting too.

have a wonderful break

Sounds like an excellent list. Enjoy!

That sounds like a good week. Enjoy!

What? You're leaving us? :(
Well, it is a great list and sounds like a lovely time. Enjoy the blog break. You'll be missed.

Hmmm, I've been online all day, and I was still late to see your post. That's a nice to-do list! We are still just waiting on spring. We've had some OK days yesterday & today (high 50's), but I am really ready to warm up, get some buds going on the trees, and so forth. Look forward to seeing you when you get back. Also, with insanely busy April winding down, look for your package soon!!!

miss you tons! can't wait to hear how you finished your list!

Clothesline is on my list too. I'm desperate for those crisp sheets.

Oh I love lists and yours seems like a great one. I hope you have an enjoyable break. Take care.

You are just so cool, Alicia. Enjoy checking things off that wonderful list!

Have fun and good luck with your list!

I hope you have a good blogging break. Have fun with your list!

have a good break, alicia! love your list. one down: i saw the spinach quiche on flickr. happy earth day!

have a wonderful break alicia!! xo

I found out how to crochet when I was a teenager. It took me a long time to get it right but now I can crochet lots of things now. I love it!

The green iris that you have posted is a singularly exquisite flower. Do you know the name or the origin of this magnificent bulb? We have tried researching where this bulb came from but without any positive outcome. The experts seem baffled as well. Thank you again for posting such a beautiful photo.
