seeing in color

Yesterday was warm and mostly sunny.
The basement is still dry as a bone.
The weather people have revised the forecast.
There's still a chance of thunderstorms,
but not torrential rain like earlier predicted.
I switched the camera back into its regular color mode.
Tonight is book club.
Friday is J and Coach Daddy's first baseball practice.
I get to put up a clothesline this weekend.
The garden is ok- waterlogged but alive.
The Siberian Iris are blooming.

I'm feeling better already.

Yay for dry basements and cheerier weather.

Beautiful flower.

sounds like all is good. very good.

blech. my yard is a mud pit.

mud. pit.

I'm glad the color is sneaking back in.

I'm glad that you are seeing in color again (not that the BW photos weren't lovely).

Glad your feeling better. I'm sure the nice weather helps!

I swear, everything feels right with the world when there's an iris around me in bloom! They are amazing... but fleeting, too.

OK, I always check your blog at the wrong time of day or something because I missed Monday's post, and then didn't look at ANY blogs yesterday at all (spent a heavenly and distracting day with my mom). Anyway, I am happy that things are looking more sunny today! Also, I loved your Mother Earth dream, and also, I heard a report from Kansas City on NPR this afternoon (about flooding) and thought about you some more. xo

Yea! for pretty flowers and dry basements.

Glad that color is coming back and that the sun is lighting your path. The iris is beautiful!

Life is good!

glad you're in color again! keep your head up!

wow. gorgeous photo. love color and composition. weather peeps always revise forecasts. :)
