Even more photos here. So many- I'm sorry. It's too hard to whittle them down!

It was all so good that we didn't want to come home. The only bummer was my sweet mom, who planned and (ahem) made the trip possible, developed a herniated disc a few weeks before we left and spent most of the trip hobbling around in pain. She was a real trooper and tried so hard not to complain. Mom and Dad, thank you. It was all just so perfect.

Welcome home, sweet Alicia!

Wow! Fantastic! Welcome home. I missed you. :)

how great for you guys to have such a beautiful getaway! those photos are really wonderful. welcome back.

I love seeing our state through someone else's eyes! It makes me not take it for granted.

Glad you had a great time. Hope mom heals quickly. I'm sure the time with family and sea breezes helped out at least a little.

Looks like a great trip. Sorry about your Mom's back.

oh no! your mom! she's so nice, i feel bad she didn't feel good for trip - which looks SO AWESOME and RELAXING, oh my.

Beautiful!!! The Florida Bureau of Tourism should see these photos. I bet they'd want them for their tourism booklets :)

The beach! Definitely a relaxing place to be. You look like you had fun!

Sea turtles? Amazing. And J, that little guy is so obviously a "Stripey" you were right on with that name. I'm glad you've returned safely and had a wonderful time.

Welcome back! That looks like a great trip! It must have been warm; we went to the beach in Florida in June last year, and it was pretty humid.

Looks beautiful!! Glad you guys had a good time, but that's a big bummer about your mom. Hope she's feeling better soon.

The trip was really great..Your picture of the "gator" is good enough for a poster advertising Florida. He was just looking for a "hand out" of the boat, as it went by. Just as the driver said, gators are always looking for an easy opportunity.

I grew up in Florida...I miss it so! What a beautiful place you were in! 21 years I spent there and I was never lucky enough to see baby sea turtles. Wonderful!

What gorgeous pictures! We just got back from Florida too, but we were in the Orlando area. It was very hot, but beautiful. My kids wanted to bring the beach home!

I dont know how I missed this post?!?!? But my most fond memory of visiting St. George Island as a kid was of watching the sea turtle nests hatch and helping each little one to the ocean, avoiding those nasty gulls. What a great experience for your kiddos. And great photos mama!

I lived in Florida for 5 years, and never really appreciated being that close to the ocean till after I was here in landlock central. You rpix make me miss it!!

I love this post. I just scrolled down today to see the pictures again. What a breezy, sandy vacation that must have been.
