lost it... finally

The darn thing has been loose for a year and wouldn't you know it- it fell out while he was off visiting his grandparents in St. Louis.

He tried to keep it a surprise but over the cell phone about an hour from home, I asked if it was very loose and he said, "I'm not going to talk about it." And then he asked if I would make him a tooth pillow.

Thanks go to Stephanie for the idea. I have had the image of her little pillow tucked away in my head since we first discovered the tooth was wiggly!

p.s. Happy Weekending!

what a great pillow! Maisy is just dying to have a wiggly tooth and I don't know what she'll do when she actually loses one.

Katrina also thinks it would be very fun to have a loose tooth. What a great pillow.

What a great pillow! :)

oh sweet BOY!!! love the pillow alicia! see you on sunday!

Hooray!! Love the pillow!!

well, my boys are never losing any teeth. hell no. that makes me too squimish.

Darling pillow and boy!

that boy's hair is perfectly feathered in all the pictures. every time.

congrats J!

..just arrived at your blog from over at ....well some other crafty blog I can't remember!...LOVE your blog...straight to the favourites! I think I'm off to make a smocket and a tooth pillow, a wintry Sunday here in Melbourne Australia, hailing right now so perfect day for sewing.

Congrats to J!!! Hip hip hooray!

I'm with Capello. I'm squeamish around the whole teeth falling out. That's my husband's department (along with throw up).

that is a SUPER cute little tooth pillow - what a cool idea :)

Aidin's don't even wiggle yet. She's desparate to lose a tooth. But at least it gives me some more time to make her pillow.

I love the pillow!
yay!

so cute! my daughter can't wait to lose teeth- i fear she will wiggle them so much they will become loose before their time.

congratulations!

i lost my first tooth while staying with my grandparents - the toothfairy left the tooth so that i could put it under my pillow again at home (2 toothfairy treats!). after that, i thought the toothfairy would always leave my tooth - when she took the next one i was beside myself. my father had to "call" her on the phone and speak to the "head toothfairy" and straighten it out!
