Yeah, my washer's been broken for a week. The part came yesterday but it will be Saturday or Sunday before it gets fixed. I've enjoyed the hiatus this week, but oh, I'm in for it once it up and running.

I was just talking to my neighbor about this. There needs to be some days when the laundry is done - over and done. Otherwise it is just too surreal.

I love what you're doing with these photos. I tried to do a "photo-a-day" journal in 2005 and stuck with it for about 7 months. It makes you realize how much beauty there is in seemingly mundane things.
