and I feel fine
Nothing like a few days of feeling pretty low to make you appreciate feeling pretty good. Time to say a few thank yous and snap out of the whining.
This lovely little felted bowl came from Grace, along with some fancy tea, handmade lotion and lip balm, and of course the amazingly soft hat for wee N. Thank you, my good friend. How long until we meet in person?
And I find myself this morning enjoying, along with the cooler weather and my coffee, my very first ever Japanese craft magazines which arrived yesterday from the other side of the planet. Thank you, Erin! They're here and I love them! I absolutely must figure out how to decipher some of these patterns.
And that piece of fabric on top of the mags? It's from Sew Mama Sew- I won one of their Free Fabric Friday drawings. Thanks, ladies! You're awfully generous. It was such a hard decision to pick just one.
Lastly, thank you all so much for your well wishes and commiseration regarding the migraines. I do believe it's time to be proactive and start trying a few alternative treatment methods for dealing with them.
Have a wonderful day, k?

So jealous of the craft magazines!! Can't wait to see what fun things you craft up from them. Pretty fabric, too. Glad to see the funk is gone!

I'm so sorry about your migraine. My friend Julie (who gets the worst migraines I've ever seen) swears by accupuncture. Hers have practically disappeared. Glad you're feeling better now!

Migraines are really truly horrible. I get one monthly which shows it's truly 100% hormonal, but they really do suck.
I've heard great things about accupuncture, and biofeedback if you can stand it taking awhile...
I have those shoes! They're the best, I wore them today in fact!

oh, those magazines, and that fabric! So inspiring! I have heard the accupuncture works wonders on many things. I have never tried it myself, but my sister and brother in law swear by it. Maybe it would help your migraines?

I'm sorry you've been having migraines - my mum gets them and they completely debilitate her.
That hat is just so cute! I need to knit some woolly hats now the weather has turned here ...

I use to get terrible migraines (3 days every month). Then they took the brand of birth control pills I was taking off the market and put me on some other pills and walla no more migraines! I am now 73 yrs old but I still remembers those headaches. I had them for 10 years! Alas my daughter also has them (mainly alergies). I will tell her about the acupuncture. Good luck. I emphatize.

I do hope you find a solution for the migraines so you'll be cured! :) Your daughter and her hat are absolutely adorable!

PS: I can swear by acupuncture, although I didn't use it for migraines. But it cured my miserable morning sickness in my second pregnancy.

I had them when I was in my early 20s.
I had electro acupuncture (not needle acupuncture) - but electro acupuncture where they hook you up to some kind of sonic machine, put homeopathic medicine in a part of it, put copper rods in your hands and beneath your feet and turn it on - it does something to the frequencies in your body. Three sessions of that and I have never had one again. Ever.
Obviously I can highly recommend it. The trick is to find someone who can do it.

Glad the mags arrived so quickly. Let me know if you need any help with the patterns, I don't read a word of Japanese and usually guess :)
N looks really cute in the pretty hat.
Hope you find a good solution to banish the migraine.
