happy, happy friday
Happy Friday! I looked out the studio window this morning and saw this heart looking back. I had to run out in my flannels to take a photo.
This isn't my only reason to feel happy this morning. Shari has included me in her holiday gift guide interviews and it's up today. Honestly, I'm a little nervous. But thrilled and flattered! I hope you have a moment to go take a look and of course read all the other incredible interviews. I am completely honored to be in the company of these artists.
Thank you Shari! Thank you.
(I'm also planning on a small shop update this afternoon. See the shop link in the sidebar? I'm going to start listing the next update over there so I don't have to blather on about it each time.)
Have a wonderful weekend, my friends! Looks like we've got just a smidge of leaf raking and mulching ahead of us...

Nice interview!
I hope you'll do the dolls again next year sometime! Charlotte isn't quite old enough to appreciate one yet -- maybe for her first b-day or next Christmas. We're getting her an itty-bitty sock dog from Stacey for Christmas this year. Grandma already has dolls covered for Elise this Christmas.
I think we'll be raking this weekend, too!

Oh my gosh Alicia! I was so excited to read your interview at Shari's! I checked your blog here early this morning and didn't know about your interview; just got home and ta da! There you were! I was so thrilled to see you and I read your interview eagerly.
And you truly truly made my day also; I'm humbled you consider me an inspiration, because YOU are an inspiration to me! I was also excited to see you had met William Christenberry; I want to know more about that. I met him 11 years ago in his studio and thought he was so wonderful too. He told me a great piece of advice that I will have to share with you.
Anyway, sorry for the longwinded post but I was just so happy about it! :)
have a wonderful weekend...
