anyone need a hand?

Ba dum bum. It's a bouquet of baby doll arms. Get it? Ok, sorry.
A few baby dolls ship in a day or two, and one blond will head to the shop after all- maybe next week. I'll let you know.
I got tons of paperwork and accounting done this weekend. It always surprises me that my (very!) small business can be so complicated to keep straight. But it is done, and a huge weight has lifted off my shoulders. Now we tackle the taxes, which of course, is not a complicated proposition at all. (wink.) The rest of the weekend was filled with exactly what we all needed: french toast, tickle fights, smoked ribs and pasta salad, a little painting, some sewing, pancakes, a little Rufus Wainwright. Maybe more than a little. Brian is sick of him, but I'm addicted.
We have a busy week ahead of us- good busy- but words from me may still be scant.
Happy Monday Morning!!

Yay, dolls! BTW, I have some fabric to send off to you for a dress... I promise to do it by tomorrow. Promise. It's polka dot. XO

Uh, accounting...no one likes to do it, but it sure feels good to get it done!

My mom used to have to do her taxes quarterly with her small business... do you have to endure that hell or do you get to do it once a year?
Either way, here's to smooth tax sailing and big refunds. : )
Oh! And I'll send the poetry handout later when I'm with my teaching files. That sounds odd, I guess. But hey! Instead of lending a hand I'll be giving a handout. Oh, dear. Worse than yours.

oh dear... paperwork, accounting, tax. A bit of an enigma to me still. But your post has prompted me to get onto that bunch of receipts. Thanks.

I hear you on the tiny business accounting - my burden hasn't been lifted yet *grrr*.

I haven't started tax stuff yet. I'm scared. Well, I have been gathering bills and stuff. Things get crazy if you do any work from home, don't they?
I've been meaning to get some Rufus. I can't decide if I like him or if he is annoying. Much like Sufjan, it could go either way. (I do like Sufjan though.)

I really enjoy your website/blog/and especially your photos. I am so glad to have found your site, and to learn about the Noticing Project. I have often taken pictures of ordinary things that are truly extraordinary.
My most recent fascination is with Quinoa (once it has been cooked) The clusters are mesmerizing. If you are not familiar, I recommend it, for it's taste, nutrition, and photo quality.
Thanks for your vision,
Jamie
