I still make stuff
even if it's just homemade spaghetti and meatballs.
Well I did complete my February quilt square for the Virtual Quilting Bee on time, and I helped out with a birthday surprise for my dear friend, Grace.
That's all I've got. See you later!

Alicia, I LOVE that quilt square--it's like a Peter Max sunrise! Just looking at it makes me happy. And for this shortest-but-longest month of February, that's a lot.

What time is dinner?
And I've been meaning to tell you, I made you quiche the other day, as I do at least 2x a month. So, so good. When I took the crust out of the oven it had puffed up in one spot, so I poked it down. This made a little hole, but I have done this many times so I figured no big deal. I loaded it up with spinach and broccoli and swiss and then poured the egg mixture on and KA-POW! My pyrex pie plate shattered. The cold egg touched the hot pie plate and that was it. Glass shot all over the kitchen. I was so glad the kids were in another room at the time. I cleaned it all up and said to hell with it and went to sonic.
So be careful. Quiche can be dangerous. And I now need to buy a metal pie pan.
Okay, sorry to commandeer your blog.
