green week: 5
A green mug of coffee (mug inherited from Brian's grandmother) and a green boy (sensitive tummy inherited from his mommy.)
My mother used to say, "Are you ok? You look green around the gills." Now I know exactly what she meant. He hasn't thrown up, but every once in awhile the pink drains completely from his cheeks, a terrible green pallor replaces it and I can just tell his tummy is flip-flopping again. Poor sweet thing.
It's snowing today, so I'm setting aside my longing for Spring and going with it. We're camped out on the couch watching movies, reading books and I've got plans to make homemade chicken noodle soup.
Hopefully the rest and soup will mend him because he has some plans tomorrow! (hint: there's a weigh-in tonight. Hee hee.)
Happy weekend, friends~ Stay well.

What's he going to be doing? Wrasslin? :)
I had the exact same thought of going with the flow today when livy exclaimed "it's snowing! A snowflake just said hi to me!"
Feel better little J.

Flip floppy tummies are no fun. He're to movies on the couch and snowflakes out the window.
And do we have a little wrestler on our hands?

We're getting buried today, too. My kiddo even had a daycare snowday (he does two part-days at daycare a week) and my husband's home after something evil at the dentist so we're going with it, too. We turned up the heat and baked some cookies and the hub even picked up some DVDs for tonight. Feels kind of decadent, really.
Hope your boy feels better. That's no fun.

We are still fighting the stomach thing. it's been two full weeks for us. The school nurse told me she needs a direct line to me because she calls me so often.

Sincere get-well wishes to poor J. I hope you're feeling better today, honey, and that you have fun with your plans, whatever they may be! No new snow today in Michigan, some sun and 40 degrees next week. It's been so bad, we're actually excited about 40 degrees!

I hope he's feeling better soon.
Is your mug a Frankoma pottery mug? I just ebayed a bunch of Frankoma stuff for a friend who had been given an entire set including serving pieces. I'd never seen it before she showed it to me, so it was fun to see your mug.

That is such a neat photo and wonderful mug, but I'm so sorry your little man is feeling poorly! My Noah sometimes gets tummy troubles. They are short-lived usually and then he is bouncing off the furniture again!
