Good friends, a berry patch, a picnic lunch. A long drive home. Cooling off with strawberry daiquiris and fresh strawberry smoothies. Dinner with those same friends at the neighborhood art fair.




She found the perfect berry. And we all found the perfect first day of summer vacation.

A couple days ago I spent a good long time looking online for a strawberry picking place that was open in the morning (kids nap in the afternoon), and I couldn't come up with anything. Where did you go??

we've been too wet for strawberry picking :( but the farmer's market has been stocking great ones.
