be still
I joined Martha's s t i l l project this week.
my photographs:
a few favorites from others:

please click through to flickr to see the photographers.
and visit the group pool. There are some real beauties in there.
to summarize:
I love the down at eye level, naturally lit from the side shot the best.
A more subdued color palette appeals to me.
The most perfect (to me) photographs feel calm and quiet.
(I knew all of these things already.)
Happy Weekending!!

love it all. Why is your household so peaceful and quiet while mine feels like a battlefield in a rock concert while wearing the wrong prescription eyeglasses and shoes 2 sizes too small??!

Alicia, Amazing work. I'm learning so much from watching your work. I'm also finally giving myself permission to pursue artistic endeavors that bring my joy thanks to your inspiration. It makes me take a deep breath and smile. Thank you.

first: i love your stills. really, alicia, they are so so beautiful.
second: the eye level shots are soooooo hard for me. maybe because i am tall? i always have an easier time taking ones when i am looking down. suggestions?

I have to try this challenge too! I love your first one, and the third. They are like each other's opposites.

gorgeous photos as always.
i made a minimal attempt and contributed only 1 image. Other than that i just couldn't commit. i knew with that theme it would be a great group pool to peruse.
