another tuesday, another list
Poof! Where'd Monday go?
It's a brisk but sunny Tuesday morning here. How is it where you are?

I am making a list as always. It's a little bit pitiful when two of my list items are to make more lists (grocery and christmas lists). Hmmmm. At least these lists help me feel more organized even if I'm not.
The basement is moving along slowly but surely. We're painting now. There was more construction and prep work than expected, which is of course to be expected. You'd think- 11 years and two houses later- we'd have learned that lesson.
I'm hosting Thanksgiving so today's list includes brining the turkey and making my grocery list. And making pumpkin muffins, but that's just a treat for us this afternoon. : )
I always make something for my kids for one of their Christmas gifts. J wants a tee pee. I have big plans, but I'm wondering how to transport 7' dowels to St. Louis for Christmas without giving it away. N wants a crown. At least that one is pretty easy.
I think this may be all you see of me this week here- it's cooking and cleaning and kids out of school time.
Happy Thanksgiving to you! (Eat a bunch, k?)

Your list photo is so pretty. I need to make me some lists. Lots of 'em.
It is a cloudy and gray morning here.
But I'm totally making those pumpkin muffins for Thursday morning! We like to have pumpkin muffins with breakfast on Thanksgiving.

We have T-Day at our house too. Have fun with your lists - the tent looks fun!
Having made a number of circle skirts for ren fest, can I offer a suggestion? The fact that some will hang on the grain and some will hang on the diagonol, it sometimes causes the fabric to hang out differently. I always cut my circle and then hang the fabric from a clipped skirt hanger for a week or so. By the end of the week the circle is a little wonky, so I trim it again and then start sewing.
Painter's canvas may be woven tight enought that it won't matter.
Just a suggestion.
Cheers, my friend!

oh, yeah. lists a plenty going on over here. sheesh.
i like to make something for each of my kiddos, too - i think this year will be a batman pillowcase (sheesh again), a robot pencil roll, and a ... girly thing of some sort. Gotta get thinking about that one!

Pumpkin muffins! I need to stop looking at blogs... I am in charge of Thanksgiving for the first time this year, and I just need to make sure the turkey turns out OK. But pumpkin muffins! Oh oh!

just starting to turn cloudy (i love it as it is a rarity in the desert).
my list making is in full force also. i've made two rather lengthy ones today (so far)...one to get through this week (finishing a term paper, work and cooking thanksgiving), the second for xmas.
