It was a wonderful day- hectic while getting ready, loud during (21 of us in all) and calm after.
Just exactly as it should be. I am feeling very grateful.
A pleasant side effect of hosting: the house is clean and there are plenty of left-overs to enjoy!

Yeah, it has kind of gotten to the point that my mom fights me for hosting (she always gets it). I think it's the leftovers.

your kitchen looks pretty! leftovers are so nice to have after you'v hosted. we did not host this year... but i actually cooked an entire thanksgiving dinner today, for the sake of having leftovers. crazy, but yummy!
