fundraising season
Auction season has begun at our elementary school. I donated the tea towels + bamboo serving utensils.

My friend Wyatt asked me to put together an item for him as well. His gift is a handmade linen and cotton chef's apron + a gift box of Penzey's spices.
And as soon as she's done with her lunch, N and I are going to bake something for the bake sale tomorrow.
What shall it be? Banana bread? Brownies? Cheesy bread? Hmmmmm...

Comments

ps. have you made towels for the shop? just a thought i thought. :) or those chef's aprons?

I've been hinting that I want someone to make pumpkin bread. I wish I could go to your bake sale!

Sounds like you had a great evening.
What did you bake? We love banana
apple sauce and walnut bread! And you
mix cream cheese, a little whip cream and
a little maple syrup.. fold into each other
and use as a dip for the bread.. or as a
topping for the cooled bread! Yummm!
Now I want to eat it! I guess I can make
some tomorrow, gotta get the stuff to make
it...
Good night!

You are very talented... and generous.
If I made those towels I would keep them for myself. But that's just me, I'm a hoarder.
My bake sale suggestion is pumpkin bread, I have a Better Homes and Gardens cookbook that has a great recipe..very easy and even yummier with jack-o-lantern pumpkin.
Pretty pics.
Truly, Julia
P.S What are you fundraising for?

Those are wonderful auction items -- someone will surely scoop them up for Christmas gifts. They are perfect Alicia. :)

Also, just curious how your school's auction works, if it's a true auction or the kind where you buy tickets and put them in for drawings?
