halloween is good
and I love it. It's one of my favorite nights of the year.
The weather was perfect. I mean perfect. There were friends and beers and big pots of soup and a fire pit and tricking and treating and a certain ladybug and ship captain who ate too much candy and an outdoor movie and really, it was all just perfect.
I mean perfect.

It sounds perfect. I've always been a little disappointed, as our neighbourhood just doesn't seem to get into it. It turns out that my brother-in-law's (half a mile away) is packed with wee trick or treaters, though - my kids loved it. I think we'll go back there next year...
