« december one | Main | our tree is up »

what's going on?

Here's what I've been up to:

Discounting items in my shop- 20% off until December 19th! And I pulled the dolls- there's just no way I could get them finished and shipped before the holidays- sorry.

Doing a little Christmas shopping- I (ahem) talked to Santa on the phone to make sure he and the elves could make (ahem) a remote control aircraft carrier that really floats. By golly, he can. I know for certain he can make an ironing board with an iron. ; )

Making some gifts- still designing the teepee in my head. It's going to be quite a challenge to construct that on the sly.

Doggy sitting-

summing himself

Digging out the holiday decorations- found the advent calendar one day late. Oh, well. We'll do two fun things one day.

Playing Monopoly- known here as Ponopoly. The game that never ends. He sure does love it, though.

ponopoly

I hope you're up to something fun today!

Hmmmmm. We refer to Monopoly as "Din-opoly". Go figure.

you're so on your game, with your gifting. i need to do the same. that ironing board looks too cute!
yay for your sales! :)

oh - funny. santa told me he could make a dollhouse and a bike. he's a pretty amazing guy.
(what about buying the dowels in st. louis??? or having someone pre purchase them for you?)

oh gorgeous table and chairs...

We have that ironing board! A fave of both kids for sure!

And, let it be known, I am NOT opposed to
1. store-bought gifts
2. gift-giving in general
3. bargains

I AM opposed to
1. coming home from relatives house with more gifts than will fit in the back of the subaru
2. not even knowing who gave what because of mayhem surrounding unwrapping too many packages at once
3. receiving a gift that clearly no thought was put into
4. feeling obligated to give gifts and then being unable to put thought into them

Because I wanted to clarify that in my own head.

monopoly was my game in my childwood, long and long afternoons with friends playing...

That ironing board is wonderful! Totally loving your chairs, too!

Happy weekend!

j. and b. would be good friends, i think.
