The Christmas stuff is all sorted and packed away. All of our closets and toy cabinets have had a thorough purging. The coat and linen closets are pared down and organized.
It's good to feel caught up once in awhile. I have had "art dreams" two nights in a row. (Do you ever have those?) I think I'd like to mess up this very tidy studio now- just in time for a little project at Echoes!

Isn't it the best feeling? The best. Makes me want to edit even more out of my house and keep going until I barely have anything to dust around.

Wow -- not just vacuum/dust clean, but organized closets clean! That is clean. I can often get one room to that state, but not all of them at once. :)

I'm dreaming of a clean house. I don't know if I'll ever be able to pare my stuff down to your level of minimalism. It looks great, but I must admit that not all of my clutter is due to the little kids in the house!

I had one just the other day. I jumped up and ran to the other room to sketch it down before I forgot it. I ran right into my husband in the doorway. Scared the day lights out of him. He had just woke up and put a pot of coffee on. He wasn't expecting a lady to come flying around the corner.

I saw this post early this morning and knew it was my wake up call. As soon as I dropped my kids off at pre-school, I came home a TOTALLY cleaned my living room and dining room!! I threw out a ton of stuff, put away stuff, and got down a dirty and dusted the darn furniture!
The rooms look great! But don't look at my family room or kitchen--haven't been there yet ;)
