well hello, 2009
Hello there, brand new year. And hello, friends.
I have a long list of personal goals for the year, but I think I'll keep them where they are- inside my head. Maybe I'll write them down, but I won't bore you. Last year treated me pretty well, but I do love a nice clean sheet of paper, don't you? Ooooo... with a newly sharpened pencil.
I will tell you my biggest resolution: to let go. Let go of the things that weigh me down and try to feel lighter. Speak more softly to my children. Worry less. Float along and smile more.

If you visited the Noticing Project this last year, thank you. We had a great time, and we're so happy you shared it with us. Honestly I'm quite proud of the accomplishment. I keep looking at the archive page and grinning from ear to ear.
We're excited to continue on another year! Noticing Project {2009} has moved and has a different format, but the intent is the same. We won't be sharing all the diptychs at Flickr, so we hope you'll join us at the new site.

What a beautiful blog you have. Both your photos and paintings are wonderful. I, too, am a painter. I read one of your posts about liking process more than product and have to say that I think most of us feel that way. That said, your product is beautiful.
