I've created a monster
These are the little rice packs I made for the kids for Valentine's Day- a little warm hug when I can't give it. (There's a tutorial for the rice packs here and I made the covers out of old wool sweaters and wool felt.)
I was surprised how well they went over! Someone small even woke up in the night hollering and said, "I really want my sheep warm again." Awwwwww. And awww, man! Because it's new and I'm tickled that she likes it so much, I actually stumbled down bleary eyed to the kitchen to reheat it. But just this once. No more middle-of-the-night microwave runs.
Well... maybe if they are feeling sickly, I'll make an exception. ; )

What cute designs. I love them!
I just recently made one of these for my 4 year old daughter. I didn't know that she'd like it so well!!! Now she takes her warm pillow to bed & actually stays in bed & goes to sleep. Before she would get up a million times.

Those are really adorable, Alicia! I really need to make them too. Although, I'll keep that middle of the night run in mind.

What a sweet way to say "I love ewe" and what a sweet mum to reheat it.

My daughter will not go to bed without her "warmie bag". My husband goes to bed with one to help his lower back problems and I put on in the bed to warm it up before I go to sleep. I love them!

How cute...I never would have thought to make a rice bag for kids but I just might have to now!

Oh my goodness, Alicia. You've outdone yourself. Those are adorable. (And I think you get Mother of the Year for getting out of bed in the middle of the night to warm it up.)
