virtual quilting bee: august, january
Yes. August is right, but this time it wasn't my fault. Poor Eren packed up and sent her first batch of fabrics and the box was swallowed up by the black hole of lost postage. Eventually she gave up the hunt and sent new fabric.
The second square is for Sarah. You can click through to Flickr to see more details if you're interested. I only have two more squares to finish up for the VQB.
It's a little dreary hear today. I hope it's sunny where you are.

you are so good! the craftsmanship of these is really amazing and i like the way you've arranged the squares in the august piece. those navy/blue squares are like stepping stones in all those colors. and the january piece is so sophisticated. i could see that in your sun room.

I just had to pop over from flickr to tell you just how much I love my block. All of the hard work is so apparent in how it turned out. You rock!

I am soooo not savvy, hope I got the URL correct. I was just wondering about the origin of your site name, Mayfly. Mayfly plays a major role in my life. It's a long story. I call my love Mayfly, mayfly photos are on my wall...

The blocks look great! I'm just getting my sewing mojo back... that busy time of year at work swallowed it for a while. Can't wait to start my second quilt, as I've been amassing a bunch of fabric.
