painting

It has been a long summer of very little time to create, but for my own mental health, I think it's time. I'm giving myself a few little assignments to hopefully spark something.

So today instead of cooking and freezing the corn I bought, or folding the laundry, or priming the trim outside, I will be here in my studio working on a little painting. And then perhaps making a birthday gift for a friend. (Hi, friend. How are you?)

Happy Friday everyone. It came right in the nick of time, didn't it?

enjoy!

is n. at school already too? (and, my birthday's not til april, you know. ;-)

xo.

i love seeing you and the blue paints and the palette knife. love.

Beautiful blue!

I hear you on not finding the time to create. I've left fallen to the wayside myself and am trying to reignite it. :)

Doesn't it feel good to just take some "me" time? I seriously need to do that myself.

i'm so glad you found this time for yourself. i love the color and am more than a little anxious to see where you go with it. happy weekend! xo

ah, i'm envious! i think i feel a sick day coming on...

very wise decision.

I recently came accross your blog and have been reading along. I thought I would leave my first comment. I dont know what to say except that I have enjoyed reading. Nice blog. I will keep visiting this blog very often.
