what I did instead
So yesterday I had lots of things I should have been doing (gift making, laundry, shopping) but instead I just had to paint the dining room. I've been pondering colors for a month or so and finally went with Restoration Hardware silver sage. Once I got it up, I wasn't so sure, but it's growing on me. It's a little magic. In the morning it looks grey. Right now it's kind of greenish-blue. And last night it was a darker grey-blue.
Of course it makes me want to paint the little china cabinet, and the mirror, not to mention the kitchen walls...
p.s. Have a wonderful weekend!

Oooh I think it looks so good. In the top photo it looks bluish, in the middle greenish and the bottom purplish. It is magic.

We used to have a room painted that color, several houses ago. I really loved it. And I think I could love it again...
It is SO Alicia.
Also, I spy a little red bowl! It goes perfectly!

Lovely. Can you tell me what it is you have clothespinned to your mirror? It looks like mini white felt stockings numbered for Advent. Am I correct? I love it!

I have a friend who has done silver sage, flax, and cappucino all from restoration hardware colors. They look fabulous! Love it in your room, too. I might have to give it a go myself.
