when I lived in NC I lived in 2 places- one where they grew all of the tobacco (really. more than any other place in the world) and one where they processed most of it. In the fall, the whole town and whole city smelled like curing tobacco, which smells like raisins. I LOVE that smell. But not once it's burning. . .
